I think Adam Findlay used them on one of the engines he built.
But I think he had to machine the width down on the rods he bought for some reason.
The thread is on here somewhere.
Plus Adam Findlay is not active on here as he uses ozvr4 for obvious reasons.

Yes I use it, already hit 5000 km with it with no issue like adam experienced. just buy on ebay its cheaper than before already. I bought forged CP piston on rpw, because they had it ready to ship. I must say CP piston product quality awesome. my advice buy CP piston with 0.50 OS and with at least 9 compression ratio (CR). I bought 0.5 OS 8.5 CR CP piston spec and felt sorry, because turns out i need 9 CR for my ported TD03 turbo with more lag. if you buy 9 CR piston that u should gain the power earlier compensate for lag turbo. If you want to stay with stock piston than ask the prism seller to make the rod with fix piston pin like the stock piston. he also offer the rod bolt but of course with less strength than ARP. They say stock piston would handle up to 500 hp. but thats ur choice, because forged piston shoud require more $$$$

I passed 7500 rpm ocasionally, its daily driven car BTW. How much is your budget? If your car fully stock VR4 then for 560 whp You would spend at least 10.000 USD for parts, services and supporting mods exclude mechanic man hour. Thats for engine supporting mods only. I spent 6800 AUD for CP Piston, Prism Conrod, ARP head stud, crank/main stud, conrod bolt, ported twin turbo, Adams 264 regrind cam, BC Crower valve spring, forge motorsport twin adjustable wastegate and AEM WAI. Then you would need uprated fuel pump, let say aeromotive fuel pump and TME Steve 1000 cc injector. I havent bought 2 last item but would cost 1100 AUD. next perhaps MAF to MAP conversion need at least 500 USD Thats my aim for 450 whp.

I see, i thinks with thats supporting mods you may push the car to 1000 hp. Perhaps you would need custom cam and hks evc ir 2.4, dont use that greddy, and ur internal engine just stock? Wow just wonder your engine still in one piece

The stock ECU can control boost much more safely than an aftermarket one. Or if you've got an aftermarket ECU, best to use that for boost control for the same reason. They'll have safety features built in which may one day save your engine!
