I was just thinking back to the good old days of Japfest @ Castle Combe. Lots of VR4's and great banter over the weekend.
Found this old vid my boy edited.

I think I followed Malc round for most of it. I could not get close enough to get past him

Why not become a full member of CVR4 and enjoy the additional benefits membership brings?! Information here.
That was my first track excursion in the Scooby wagon, before the engine was rebuilt to fully forged spec. Had an issue with
fuel starvation on the fast corners. Later overcome by installing a swirl pot and Bosch 044 pump. It was thanks to CVR4 that got me
out on track for the first time 4 years early when I had the Silver Galoon.
Mine was the factory standard spec black vr4 with gold wheels and stupidly large 5" exhaust tail pipe.
The engine boost etc was standard. Only running 0.55/0.6 bar.
But at the time it was the quickest car I had driven.
Lol

Happy days then! Was I out in the TME?
Still here somewhere........
That was 2010 Mike. Did you have the TME then?
Great Vid, great times. Not sure I was at that one though?
Heh! Good times. Do you know if it is still alive? They seem to be getting quite popular now.
Apparently SORN'd MOT expired 30 May 2015.
Found out the other day my Silver Galoon is still alive and used daily by Steve A who bought it in 2008

Always good to hear!
Bless him. Is that what you said?!
Malc - have you offered him cash yet?
