    V6 clutch trouble

So a whole 2 days after picking my V6 Sport up, I find myself with a clutch that won't spring back up past half way once depressed. Sometimes it will ping itself back up and other times I have to give it some persuasion upwards with my toe. With my limited knowledge I would say it's probably the master/slave cylinder going.

Does anyone have any suggestions of what else it may be or stuff to try to confirm this? I'm hoping it could possibly be air/water in the system but I'm probably clutching at straws (pardon the pun).

What companies are you guys using for parts these days?

    Cheers,

    Charlie.

It's a hydraulic clutch, on a VR4 those symptoms mean it needs bleeding. Find someone who can vacuum bleed it. If it happens again then air is getting in somewhere.

Thanks Nick. Garage are going to give it a good bleed first and then look at master and slave cylinders. He said to thank my lucky stars that the cylinders are external.
