    car is in mint condition, has 275k. thers a dent in the bonnet a and needs painting. gearbox shifts well but car vibrates at high cruise speed. i used a japanese site to see the recalls made by mitsubishi, and the last one was in 2007 in japan.

    Can i ask what the jap site was and what kind of information you can find out from it, it would make interresting reading if i could find out Technical info, Possible recalls, Factory bulletins for my own model if its delivers that kind of information.

    im also a member on club ozvr4, so all credit goes to them. i saw this on a thread they have there.

    all you have to do is insert your car vin on the two box below, first one is for the model and then the number of the chassis ex: EA6A - *****

    my car did all the recalls, fuel pump and the most important lower arma ball joint (they would snap causing the car to crash)

    If you put the UK registration into this you can get an idea of the services by looking at what items came up and went away on the MOT every year. also gives the KM every year.


    These are the last items commented on (but *not* failed on - these are things they are saying will/might be a problem over the next year but are not yet.)

    Front brake pads worn close to legal limit of 1.5mm overall on inspection
    Stress fractures evident to top of both front upper strut mounts to front of car on inspection
    Engine management light illuminated on test

    Id check for signs of welding on the front struts, else consider getting them checked out.
    the check engine light might be related to the work done the previous year:

    August 2015

    Reason(s) for failure
    Exhaust emissions carbon monoxide content after 2nd fast idle excessive (7.3.D.3)
    Exhaust emissions Lambda reading after 2nd fast idle outside specified limits (7.3.D.3)

    either a cat swap or lambda sensor swap, or, some kind of lingering emissions issue.

    Then looks clear back to 2012 when:
    Advisory notice item(s)
    Offside Front Trailing arm rubber bush deteriorated but not resulting in excessive movement (2.4.G.2)
    Nearside Front Suspension arm rubber bush deteriorated but not resulting in excessive movement (2.4.G.2)
    Offside Front Suspension arm rubber bush deteriorated but not resulting in excessive movement (2.4.G.2)
    rear discs corroded

    so probably had all those bits done between then and sept 2013.

    This doesn't help with general servicing, but the critical parts you get some info on.

    wow thats great information, thats why the car has weldind on the top of the front suspension. i knew it wasnt original....thought it would be rust or some tipe of reinforcement.

    it sure helped alot to know what problems it had, and if it was fixed. i will have it checked up and do some maintenance on it
