    Hello everyone

    Hi

Hello to you all, sorry it is a Galant Elegance v6 2002(86,000 miles) owner, other than a v4, I need help.
I have had a fruitless search for the plastic engine undretray(s)(splash guard)(skid tray).
(From what I can see I need all of them.)
You can see the problem I don't know what people call them.
I have found a Japanese site but it does recognize my VIN number.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Already bought plastic that does not fit(all the way from UAE).

    Thank you

    Hi John,

I think I've found the bit you want:

    MR288954

Do you also need the two side parts (labelled as 66015L/66015R)? If so these are MR280783 and MR280784

    Hope this helps!

You shouldn't need them? It's a good idea to have them though.

    Hi Nick

Thanks you are right I do not need it/them passed MOT with no probs, but when ground wet etc, it does kick a load of sh*t in engine bay.

    Welcome!

We had two UK V6s, neither of which had undertrays. That's not to say that they didn't originally possess them though! Not had one on my VR-4 in the last 10 years. TBH, they are more of a PITA when it comes to diagnosing and dealing with problems, as any leaks tend to get spread around and drop to the ground in a different area. And the plastic clips sometimes break, especially if grounded!

Where are you based John? I was under the impression that the side panels are the same on VR4s and V6s although the undertray might vary for different bumper styles.
