240mm Exedy Clutch kit - is this the right one?

My clutch has started slipping on my PFL Legnum so I've started looking for a replacement.

This is a 240mm clutch, is that right for the standard replacement?

    Elsewhere shows a 225mm clutch.

Which should I be looking at?

    Yes it's 240mm

I'd be tempted, however, to make use of an Evo flywheel & Evo clutch, and one Nick Mann's conversion kits. This will open up a lot of possibilities, and if you're planning on running higher than standard boost, it'll be worth having a better clutch setup

Thanks Garry, that's what I wanted to hear.

I did think about Nicks adaptor but as I'm going to keep it running stock power () once you add the extra £200 or so it didn't seem worth while. although I suppose I could use the excuse for a wee tweek

Lies! It'll never happen! One day you'll be with someone who's got their laptop and OpenPort cable to hand, casually chatting away, and next thing you know you'll have some extra boost and generating a bit more torque, and you'll then regret not getting a slightly more capable clutch as it starts to slip

    Trust me

HAHA and I've just thought of the perfect way to offset the extra cost....

Is a weekend in Nottingham sufficient time to get a clutch swapped? and rather than visit Eurospec would any of the lovely people at the garage day be willing to attempt such a serious job?

After an indepth conversation with the wife (read Me begging her), we've come to the conclusion that the Evo clutch/Flywheel is the route to go. So the plan now is to service the rear fluids at the garage day (thanks @Confused) and then take the car off the road while I swap out the clutch.

I'm contemplating a few other tasks at the same time so I think I'll start a bit of a "My journey with the Legnum" thread in the near future.

Have a chat with Nick at the garage day about all the other bits you'll need and recommendations, but if you can definitely pick up one of his spacer kits from him (will save a couple quid in postage costs, at least, so you can use this as a positive to your wife )
