WTB: Manual Gearbox for 2.5V6 Sport

My V6 has gone into the garage today after discovering a whirring noise, which is suspected to be an input shaft bearing.

I can't afford a gearbox rebuild so I'll be looking to purchase a manual gearbox in good working order and do a straight swap.

Won't be able to collect so courier/delivery to the LN4 area would be essential.

It's an X reg (2000) if that makes any odds.

    Thanks guys!

I've now been told it's most likely the 'lay shaft'...whatever that is. I'll probably go down the route of a recon rather than buying a second hand box. Can anyone recommend a specialist either in the Lincolnshire area or the Merseyside area. Cheers.

I think a rebuild is going to be abit out of my price range for now, so back on the hunt for a manual gearbox. Cheers guys.
