Pure Rally 2018 Season Opener - London to Geneva

Hey guys, I know its a little delayed and some of you already know but in March I went on a trip with Pure Rally for the season opener. This had us driving from the Ace Cafe in London over to Geneva for the International Motor Show.

It was a fantastic experience and met some absolutely awesome people and cars. Unfortunately the VR4 wasn't on the road so I took the 350Z. Here is the official Pure Rally Geneva after movie to keep you occupied whilst I sort out all the pics I took during the rally:

I will pop another post up just for the pics from the motorshow to keep the 2 threads separate.

Yeah would be good to do a Club road trip to be fair. Could have been an idea for the 15th Anniversary if Id have thought about it before haha. I might try and put something together for next year sometime (summer I expect) if there is enough interest.

i too would love to do a road trip to the south of france/top of italy to do some the mountain roads.
but you have to have a reliable car to do that and at the momenti dont even have an engine in one piece. LOL.

but i do now have a engine block/heads parts washer in the back garden in the form of a full sized dish washer. so i will not have to use the one in the kitchen. (dont tell vicky, shhh)

    Bye for Now!

Yeah, the next trip I want to take would be over to Monaco. The route I have planned is roughly:

Day 1 - From the UK to Troyes
Day 2 - Troyes to Geneva
Day 3 - Geneva to Monaco via the Mt Blanc tunnel then head down to the coast by Genoa and on to Monaco (beautiful roads and scenery)
Day 4 - Spend the day exploring Monaco village, driving around the various parts of the circuit including Casino Square etc. Then head up into the mountains above Monaco. Some amazing driving roads, heaps of tunnels and stunning views
Day 5 - Monaco to Lyon heading via the outskirts of Marseille and then Grenoble
Day 6 - Lyon to Reims via Dijon
Day 7 - Reims to UK

Roughly 1 week but can extend the driving slightly each day to cut the overall time down to suit if need be. Depends how many people are in each car to split the driving up etc. To cut the driving up I was thinking about driving to Dover the night before and stopping over so Im fresh for the drive the next day. That could potentially increase the distance I can cover on the first day etc.
