    Have you seen the new MOT test requirement.

    It hits diesel after 2006 the most.
    If you have removed a DPF for performance or just because it is broken. You will have to refit it for the MOT otherwise it will be a classified as a dangerous fail and potentially having to have the repair work carried out at the MOT station that failed the car. as you will not be able to drive the car from the test station. It will have to be towed away only.

    Sound like a license to print money by the MOT station to me.

    The new rules come in 20 may 2018

    There goes my plan to take out the DPF on the Mondeo.

    Nothing stopping you from removing dpf just make it so it can be refitted again for mot
