    Clutch and gear problems

    Hi club, I have just done a clutch and have bleed the hydraulic clutch on a vr4 twin turbo, the problem is I only got 1st,3rd and 5th,but can't get 2nd,4th and reverse and crunch and grinds, and not sure of the problem, please help

    my first guess would be a problem with the linkage from gear stick to the box - you cant select anything "down" implying that the up/down cable isn't working properly.

    Is there anyway to check or adjust them?the car had been sitting for 3years so I think I'm first to tamper with anything, all I had done was take the pins out,the 2 bolts holding the bracket and bend them up out of the way to get to the bell housing and transfer case
