So I just kept doing a bit more every day after work as the interior was starting to dry up nicely

Here I put on my old original bumper but I wasn’t happy with the look so back to the junkyard I went in search of a new one

As my interior was now all nice and dry I went and got all new plastics and also stripped every rusty bolt and screw until she was nice and new again, it was a bloody long process but well worth the effort

Here is a pic of greeting her out of the garage for the first time in 6 months for a well deserved wash and some fresh air lol

Then it was time to get her on some jack stands and get the rims off for some new tires

I wanted the best performance tires I could get that could still be used on the open road so after researching for the best you can get I decided on Bridgestone Potenza Adrenaline Re003 which were a very New design when I got them, they really a amazing tire and stick to the road like glue in the wet and dry!! They are made out of a silicon based compound so they wear faster then other tires but the performance is 2nd to none

Up until this point because my car was broken into they smashed my ignition barrel so I went ang got another one and got some new keys cut , I was having to Hotwire it to start it each time which I hated

Here you can see I installed the new ignition Barrel and I lock tight the new shear bolts in there so unless you have a grinder you ain’t getting that barrel off again in a hurry

    Story of a 7G VR4 Build

Then I found this rare gem, these are very rare to find and I was happy to find one, I think the description is wrong though, I think these only came on the vr4 , I know they definitely came on the E84a which I have though

I had a go with some carbon fibre wrap which looks nice but doesn’t last that long

Thanks for spending the time uploading the history of your build, looks like a lot of love has gone into it!

Hope you don't mind, but I've just modified all your posts so that the images are uploaded here as Attachments, so that they won't get lost if anything ever happens to Tapatalk!
