    Airbag seat connector car portion

I'm trying to work out what resistance resistor I need to get rid of my srs light on my dash by prodding my multimeter about, but there are 3 vacant connectors and I'm not sure which one it is, can someone help please?

I am not sure what the resistance is but I would not recommend using resistance check on the air bag itself, as this will apply about 2v across the air bag Tigger terminals and I am not sure what voltage will set the air bag off.

There isn't an airbag, apart from the steering wheel. I had the original cloth interior fitted which had a connection from the seats to the air bag connector on the floor in the car, I've since changed the interior out for a black leather interior, which seats don't have any airbags present and therefore a vacant connector in the car. Because there is an open circuit I get the srs light on the dash, so I need to work out firstly which connector is for the airbag and secondly what resistance it is putting out. I can then fix a resistor accross the terminals and therefore fool the car and hopefully my light should dissapear.

    Hi Charlie

the cable you are holding, red connector with yellow conduit will be airbag.

2 (two no typo) ohms seems to be the value to use - came across this yesterday and through of you https://www.nengun.com/bride/side-air-bag-canceller
