    Rear subframe chassis mount corrosion

Hello all, I'm in the process of cleaning up the usual rust on the rear subframe of my Legnum before winter sets in. I've noticed some bad corrosion on the chassis rail where the leading mount on the offside fixes :-( . I'd ideally like to cut out and replace the rotten section of chassis rail with the subframe in situ as much as poss. Has anyone attempted this? Are the bolts for the mountings captive, so I can just undo the nut? Thanks for your help!

Captive studs, yes. You may find around the studs rusts quite a bit too forcing removal of the subframe to repair.
