    Curtain Norway

Hi all, joined up the forum last year to research before buying, but never got around to introducing myself.
Will become a paid up member once my location is sorted by the mods.

Originally from Fife, Scotland, now living just outside Stavanger, Norway.
Always been into cars, but now seem to be building a collection I have no space for.

Bought my Legnum last summer from a trader near Blackpool, he didn't know too much about it apart from the fact that it was owned by a garage who may or may not have imported it, but looks like it's came from japan about 10 years ago and basically not moved much since.
Showing 115,000 km, got all the japanese history but no idea what it means.

Drove it back to Norway without issue, apart from the slight wobble on the front discs became a death shake after a while, so the Autobahn was interesting...
Car seems totally stock, had the original Japanese radio with all the satnav and Carozzeria computer and stuff. Had to take that out because it only got one radio station...
Unfortunately also has the speed limiter, but over here with the lower speed limits, that's not gonna be an issue.

Next step is to give it a service, belts, fluids, timing belt, I can't see any indication that it was done regular in the UK, oil was clean, but better safe than sorry, timing belt may have been on the car for 11 years, it had only done 200 km tho, so standing for a while is never good for a car.
Already done the front discs, might stick a set on the rear as well since they look quite rusty.

Next is to get it registered, could be a challenge as the Norwegian version of VOSA are not known for their flexibility, but Mitsubishi are working on some documentation for me which will fill in the gaps left, it's a little easier with it being UK registered, but still could be a minefield. importing my Alpine was a proper ballache.

    Onwards and upwards, right ?

The car looks to be in good condition. I do like them in white.

If you want to remove the speed limiter, its just a case of cutting a single wire to the ECU. Its well documented on here somewhere.

Glad to hear you're getting the timing belt changed, 11 years is a long time for it to be on the car!
