Not as good as a video, but this was when I briefly had it to resurrect it and sell it on. My outgoing VR4, incoming VR4 and JJU with my wifes old Mazda. That is the only time I have owned three VR4s at the same time!

So really its had a long history with the club. I'll be taking it off the road for a couple of weeks just to give it a decent clean and going over.

So I have fitted the evo 7 alloys with 2354517's all round. I'm really concerned the rear tyres are sitting extremely close to the upper wishbones. Any quick remedy? Done 5 Miles and cant hear any c ontact and fronts dont catch at all it's just those tears that c concern me.

I ran 235s on Evo wheels for a while and had no issues, except for the occasional rubbing at the rear under compression. Only changed to 225s once they were worn out.

What rubbing there is should be on the wheel arch, not the suspension arms.

Its definitely the top suspension arms that are rubbing Nick, to be honest a 5mm spacer would sort it

I've had several sets of evo 7 wheels and they have all cleared the suspension arms, including with 235/45/17 rubber. I have seen several other sets which have only ever rubbed on the arch, and even then only on 235, not 225.
This makes me think your tyres are a generous 235/45, or your wheels have had their offset increased, or your suspension arms are not standard. This is only in my limited personal experience.

You may well be right Nick, the wges dont look to be modified in any way and the tyres look pretty standard size but absolutely anything is possible I guess. I'll change to 225's and take a look for the telltale Mark's to see where contact was but I'm 99.99% certain it's the arms.
