    Fuel filter location ???

After changing the spark plugs (what a job that is) I’m looking for the fuel filter and can’t see where it’s located to. Can some one help and give me an idea of where and how to get to it please

Drivers side at the rear underneath just infront of the rear wheel at the side of the fuel tank.
But if its not been touched for years im guessing all the bolts will be heavily corroded and would suggest taking the filter off with the bracket from the body.
Can't remember exactly if its 17mm or 19mm and 14mm, but make sure you use a very good fitting 14mm spanner on the fuel hose because it will round off!
Also work the 12mm bolts on the chassis bracked in /out and use plenty wd40 spray and you shouldn't snap any.
    Hope that helps you matey

If it looks rusty it would be a very good idea to soak in WD40 for 24 hours first. I have changed a fair few and several cars ended up having bolts drilled out after they snapped.

Thanks guys . That’s a more sensible place to put it unlike the fto’s which is on the bulk head just above the exhaust .

Was fairly rusty but came off without snapping anything.

Wish I could see inside the filter and see what it’s been catching . I’m strange like that
