1976...… the summer of heat & sun & parties


I was just 18.... barely out of short trousers.... at college, being told I must be a sparky ! not many of the other kids could afford a pushbike let alone a car !!

1975 alfa sud 1.5 TI...… bought it 9 months old with 11K on the clock .

& for those of you with memories stretching back 5 yrs plus...… I also had, at the time , a stunning.... drop dead gorgeous... super model girlfriend Oh, how life changes ! [the cat was an optional extra ]

Do you still have the mullet in the wardrobe?

I was still in short trousers but I remember the long hot summer of 76 and the Alfa sud as my neighbour had one. It looked such a cool car. Shame they rusted so badly.
