That cable may not be long enough. Its a while since I had a standard O2 sensor in my hand so may be wrong.

The connector is underneath/behind the sunglasses holder, as explained by Nick. Take off the kick panel in the passenger footwell by the tunnel. You'll see a white plastic 4 pin plug hanging down.
