    AYC repair parts

I am currently looking into servicing a AYC pump at the moment inbetween working and taking out 2 walls at home and installing a new kitchen, I had 2 AYC pumps as seen in the pictures and the corrosion is ridiculous on both of them, i was wondering if the solid straight steel pipes can be replaced for new ones?
I have the service kit with o rings bolts and the round plate etc, new pumps on Ebay are around £1,800, second hand pumps which look no better than what i have around the £300 to £750 mark! Unreal,

going to cost me a fortune this car I'm budgeting £300 for full respray which i hope will cover all the rust issues plus buying new suspension and bushes etc, if i can't get the respray done for £,3000 I'm going to buy an evo or rx7, i just don't want to spend too much money on a car that is hard to find parts for, especially if someone bumps into it in the future n panels can't be found

Bottom pic the casing is damaged by a previous idiot with the wrong tools I assume?

After running both of them through the parts washer and cleaning them up they both ended up in the skip the one with the broken cast for obvious reasons and the other one was so dirty I didn't know it was full of holes until I cleaned it, it looked as though it was lay in acid for a long time, there was lots of little holes in the casting rendering it useless,

I really do want the ayc working as well, I want everything on the car to work to enjoy it and experience it exactly as it was intended.

    The hunt continues!

The casting crack looks like it was due to corrosion building up around the seal, this would put incredible pressure on the casing and probably split it open.

The casing full of holes - it might be possible for a good metal shop to braise it back to life - so possibly worth de-skipping.

The casing looked liked it had been eaten away a lot of it including threaded posts for mounting it, there aren't that many available second hand either which is surprising given the popularity of the evo

Funny enough, they drive much better in the snow without the AYC relay in, and also stop better minus the ALB relay, cadence braking with your foot works better.

Never driven a well maintained fully working legnum yet so I can't really comment, would seem odd it driving better without ayc as Mitsubishi have stuck with it on every evo they have made, I don't know what an alb relay is?

    ALB - ABS (I think?)

I found my car to be great fun in the snow with AYC, but it doesn't have TCL/ASC, and i've heard those systems make the cars a bit sluggish.

I purchased a repair kit off Ebay for £59 but there doesn't seem to be any ayc pumps worth restoring especially at a reasonable price anyway for the condition they appear to be in, imagine spending over £300 on a unit to find it's useless
