Let me introduce myself. My name is Marco, i'm 32 years young and i'm living in Magdeburg, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. My profession is electrotechnican and i'm repairing cnc-tooling machines. The first car i drove was a Nissan 100NX followed by a Galant (EA0, 2.0l). Currently i own two cars - an Opel Insignia Sportstourer and a VR4 from 2000, AT, RHD.
My EC5A is slightly modified. At first it was important to fix the biggest weaknesses - the braking system and coils/damper. Next things are my Volk TE37 but i'm undecided which tires to buy.
What size are the wheels?
The size of my Volks are 17x8,5. My present mounted rims are the EvoX GSR OEM.
235/45/17 just about fit with a high 30s offset on the wheel. Any more than that and you are looking at rolling the arch to avoid rubbing. Even with the above the rears cqn rub when the spring is compressed.
Thanks for the information but my struggle is about which tire to choose.
