    Speedo Sensor Manual Gearbox

    Morning All,

I was wondering if anyone has a speedo sensor hidden away anywhere that they would be willing to part with. Been having dramas with my speedo and i have changed the resistor and still blows the fuse and no speedo.

No worries, It get spliced into the wiring for the speedo sensor, just converts the reading to MPH instead of KMH.

My car failed it’s not in ireland for only displaying mph, I had to borrow a dual dash from a forum member and then return it. But that was in Northern Ireland.

I can get a genuine used one from mike at viamoto but he is on holiday at moment.

Yeah the auto one is different. I could get a pattern one from car parts for an auto and it was only £20 I think just manual they couldn’t do.

Technically northern Ireland is still the UK so different rules once you cross the invisible line.
If you take the connection off the speedo drive,do you still blow fuses tam?
