    Clutch pipe box/splitter

Having some issues getting a decent feel from the clutch peddle .
New slave fitted ,Known good master fitted
My question is has anyone removed the box just before the slave cylinder?
    What's it's purpose?

That box is supposed to help with pedal pressure clutch. I know a number of people have replaced that section with a braided line, as it makes it easier to bleed.

It is a damper, supposed to make it easier to control at biting point. I have replaced it with a simple pipe, Mitsubishi actually make one that fits.

You don't have a part number or know which car it's for Nick by any chance?

I can't remember. I just spent 20 minutes looking for it and can't find it. I thought I had found the info about it on the MLR, but I can't find it now.

It is a part that fits all F5M5 boxes as far as I know?
