    Walbro 255 fuel pump

    If I fit a walbro 255 pump will it cause any problems , the vr4 I have is just standard fuel lines nothing fancy

    You'll get a terrible whining noise from the back of the car, but that's just the sound of the pump... You'll also probably want to bypass the "low pump voltage at idle" feature.

    You probably should replace your factory fuel pressure regulator at the same time for a good quality aftermarket adjustable one, with a gauge - this way you'll know exactly what fuel pressure you've got, and that the original regulator isn't being overpowered by the improved pump.

    Is there any where you recommend for buying the stuff for doing it , I’ve seen the pump on eBay at £60 , not sure about regulator type

    I've got the above pump plus the AEM regulator on my Anglia. Am just adding a fuel pressure sensor to feed into my Link ECU for more logging and control, but it has so far given good results.

    The walbro copes fine with low voltage at idle. Definitely gdt a good fpr though.

    Ordered the pump , next month for the regulator I think , didn’t think they were so expensive
    But I will do the job properly

    Do want the buy cheap buy twice getting me.
