new legnum vr4 type s owner

    Hi everyone

Just bought myself a legnum which is in a bit of a state, hope to get it back to its glory slowly. I noticed that it has some clubvr4 stickers on it so it must have belonged to a member in the past.

dont think it has been serviced in years, will need to flush the radiator and get all the oils changed.

anyway hope to have alot of fun with this once im done making sure its running right.

Good to see that you intend on bestowing some TLC on your new car!

Weirdly, I'm not sure they're original CVR4 stickers, but that's not a worry! Certainly looked like somebody had access to a vinyl cutter

The rear bumper looks a bit pushed in. If you look underneath, there may still be two (I think) metal brackets that are probably now bent, holding the bumper in that position. Straighten them, and the bumper should push back out to its proper shape.

    Hi Welcome

Don't mix your antifreeze colours!, check what's in it and stick to the same, otherwise it turns to a thick sludge!

    Thanx Louis
Unfortunately it was all brown and looked muddy, had to change thermostat, flush everything with coolant flush and once all clean put in green coolant.

Make sure you really flush it out, I had issues with one a long time ago, with overheating etc I flushed it out, but the small hoses around the thermostat were all totally blocked.
    Looks good
