    Kumho tyres for legnum

I need to buy a new set of tyres for my legnum as my current ones are way past their best. I think im going to go for Kumho ecsta PS91 as they have good reviews and good performance for an affordable price. But i just thought id check to see if anyone has any knowledge of how they perform on a legnum and if there are any problems. Or if there are any standout tyres you can recommend for a similar price id like to hear your suggestions.

You can currently get Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 tyres for £70 a corner. I keep thinking about getting a set of four until they're needed!

That's based on 225/45R17 though. It looks like Kumho only do PS91s in 18" to 20" though - are your wheels 18" or more?

Mid-range, you will get a few votes from owners for Falkens. Then there's the original fitment Bridgestones...

Difficult to say from the reviews though. Tyres can be about as subjective as oil choices! For goodness sake don't ask this on a Facebook group

I have a set of KU36 235/45/17 I use in the summer and I like them.
Very sticky, very predictable, good side wall, (not too stiff and doesn't look flat when at correct pressure)
    before that I used KU31.

I have used Eagle F1, good but always look flat at correct pressure!
Toyo proxy, didn't like, very stiff sidewall which would flex abruptly on fast tight bends!!
Yokohama AO48, great tyres but wore out quite quick!
Falken 453's, great but wore out quick, mostly on the shoulders!.
Always meant to try the Brifgestones but never have as yet.
These are my personal findings, others like the proxy, others swear by the Goodyears Eagles.

    All above were 235/45/17
Updating Soon!! 1998 Legnum VR4, fully serviced every 4500 miles. Fully Amsoil'd. Falken 453's, EVO 8 FQ320 rear diff.

I should probably mention that my current tyres are 225/40/18

Plus one for the toyos, paid £254 delivery inc, plus I know someone who fitted them for £20.00
But I am only going on the price as not used others as it took ten years before I changed the first set .
