Car Aero This is a topic that divide opinions

i am no expert and as they say a little knowledge can get you in whole heap of sh*t.

this is why i would leave it up to the people that have done the time and taken the hit already and are willing to share there experiences.
i am not saying everything in this video series is from the mouth of the areo gods themselves but it sound pretty good to me.

you might say some of it is obvious, but it is just good no frills info.

    Bye for Now!

i am looking forward to next weeks rear end areo video that will be released.
when it is i will link it in the first post.

it is an interesting subject Areo, it would be good to know at what speed areo products actually start giving a tangible benefit.
i have heard it argued that you need to be going over a certain speed to be able to generate down force from a wing and a splitter and that figure was 80-100mph but how do you dismiss the effects of areo in a smaow speed corner it obviously helps cornering but which areo parts do what in each situation and how much do they contribute.

it will be interesting to see what people think.

adding aero part for looks is down to the individuals choice and it can make cars look really good even if they areo parts are actually only creating drag and slowing the car down. as long as we all know this and it is for aesthetics only, each to there own.

i knew a splitter worked by creating front end down force to aid stability at speed and help cornering, but i had not really sat down a thought about how it generated the down force and what needed to be in place around the splitter to make it work. it is a very interesting topic and as the video point out he is only scratching the surface of it.
