Custom VR4 260 Kmh Hi Vis Speedometer DIY Conversion Kit

    Any one interested?

Guys, I am offering Custom VR4 260 Kmh Hi Vis Speedometer DIY Conversion Kit. This kit allow you to convert JDM VR4 max speed 180 kmh Hi vis speedometer into VR4 speedometer with euro style 260 kmh max speed. Electronically, the conversion also need 260 kmh configuration / calibration chip to replace 180 kmh configuration chip on the speed section speedometer PCB (need desolder and soldering skill) which supplied with the purchasing. Along with that conversion you may ask some customization on speedometer indicator, , which is custom indicator, adding, delete, color or relocate speedometer indicator, but of course with very limited options and basic assumption such as:
    1. We working only with stock design so speed is in kmh only and max speed is 260 kmh
    2. No Super VR4 hi vis layer look alike
    3. No Speed and RPM font/figure changing

And Since the odometer figure stored in speed configuration chip, you may also ask me to write your desired odometer figure on the replacement chip supplied.

As for Custom 260 kmh speed hi vis layer itself made from hi quality material with precise painting and cutting for hassle free DIY Project.

Heres some example custom hi vis attached, ordered from the past 3 years, mostly from OZVR4 member in OZ and NZ. To give you ideas on limited design

I am offering the price $100 USD + EMS Shipping anywhere on the globe for a set of DIY Conversion kit and you will get:
    a. 1 pc. new custom 260 kmh max speed hi vis layer.
    b. 1 pc. 260 kmh configuration/calibration replacement chip
    c. Desired Odometer figure writing services on replacement chip.

They look great but being only in kmh won't appeal much to UK based people.

'97 Manual Legnum in silver with some subtle mods

My first VR4 - '97 Legnum Dark Green & mean ...it was love at first sight - now sold

So both of you wants the speed only read in mph? But as i reckon, if i am not mistaken, even the speed scaled in both mph and kmh the odometer still marked in kmh. Isnt it?

VR4s from factory are in km. Speedo reads km/h and odometer counts in km. In the UK we still count and measure in miles so a converter gets fittedwhich makes the speedo read mph and the odometer count in miles.
This means most VR4s in the UK have an odometer which has counted a combination of km and miles.

The converter is wired into the signal wire going to the speedometer. See here for a typical example - http://www.ncs-systems.com/car-elect...nterfaces.html
