    Possible sticking caliper?

Got a lot of vibration through the steering wheel driving home today, and front left brake is red hot and smelling. Likely to be stuck caliper? If so, where do I find a replacement or overhaul kit? Or could it be warped disk? How would I know? TIA

If you want to replace the caliper or obtain a rebuild kit viamoto.co.uk has everything you need.

Personally I'd go for an off the shelf caliper as its less work and hassle to swap a caliper than it is to rebuild one.

Brake discs can be had here too

A sticking caliper will lead to a "warped" disc.
Good advice on viamoto, the sticking caliper is usually rusty slide pins which can sometimes be resurrected. The rust and sticking is often caused by the wring grease being used on the slide pins. They need a small amount of high temp grease, whereas you often see them gunked up with coppa slip.

No problem mate, anytime. Not worth cheaping out on your brakes either for obvious reasons. At least with viamoto everything can be had in one place and arrives in one package.

As Nick rightly said though the slider pins can cause issues. So always handy to have a couple of rolls of kitchen towel in your shed/work area and pay a visit to your local motor factors for some brake slider pin grease. But again, viamoto stock that too.

I'm recomissioning my legnum over the course of time and so far almost everything has come from them. Almost a one stop shop.
