    Stock intercooler spray system?

Still discovering new things about this official Ralliart-import facelift Legnum. I noticed there is a pump/reservoir mounted behind the stock intercooler which feeds a peculiar looking red trumpet mounted right behind the cooler itself. It looks like a truck horn or something, but the hose definitely goes to it. The car came with a Ralliart booklet and somewhere I thought I saw it mentioned something about an intercooler spray system, which in another leaflet was also mentioned in one of the checks done at Mitsu Ralliart in the UK.

Does anybody know exactly how the system is wired to work? I couldn't find an obvious water tank, nor a trigger button/switch. Here's a photo looking through the top grille, you can sort of see the pump body.

P.S come to think of it, intercooler sprays are meant to spray at the frontal area of the cooler. So why would this be positioned behind it? Could this be some aftermarket mini-air horn? I can't recall how a standard Galant horn sounds but this one sounds more or less normal and squeaky...

Never heard of an intercooler spray fitted as standard or even as an option on the official grey imports.

They were only different in that they had an mph sticker, rebadged to Galant, undersealed and had a restrictor put in the fuel tank pipe to fit the unleaded pump nozzle.

    Def no factory intercooler spray.
I agree with Nick, dump valve probably there behind the grill so it is more audible.

I completely forgot to update this thread after starting my converter chip woes... It's an aftermarket horn installed by the previous owner (now confirmed by him after a call). The pump-like unit is the electric compressor motor which draws in air, then channels it through the transparent hoses which lead to both horns. The car still has it's factory dump valve in the stock location further down, so it's not that for sure. I guess I got mislead by that sheet of paper by Ralliart that had check marks on a few things they went over including "Inspect intercooler spray fluid", hah.
