    Castle nuts

    Hi all,
I've managed to mushroom the castle nut on my front cv joints. Can these be obtained separately or do I need a complete joint kit?

    The joints are fine.
I managed to mushroom the nut by persistently hitting the end to try and get the cv joint out of the hub while rebuilding the front suspension, as I wanted to strip everything, clean, grease where required and re-assemble it.

I've found some mitsubishi Castle nuts on ebay but they're for a pajero / shogun

the nut has its own part number - MB109029

Looks like it could also fit the Pajero.

Glad you are sorted. I found a couple of used ones in my bolts bucket yesterday but new would always be better.
