'97 Manual Legnum in silver with some subtle mods
My first VR4 - '97 Legnum Dark Green & mean ...it was love at first sight - now sold
Nice! Looks like its slightly lowered.
Does it need work?
Thanks.
Yes it has been lowered, too much in my opinion so I will be looking at raising it. Just hope I don't need to buy new springs for the front.
It needs maintenance more so than work. I can drive it around, and it drives well but needs things like new CV boots, windscreen washer motor,
Taillight bulbs, some new vac lines. The biggest thing I found was it seem to have a boost leak at high rpm and on inspection I found one of the
previous owners had deleted the bleed off valve or blow off valve. So I stopped driving it on boost until I get my new GFB BOV in.
I have the front end off at the moment checking all the control arms and steering linkages just to be safe, While the front is off I've ordered a Intercooler
kit and a power steering cooler to go in.
The standard BOV is recirculating, I imagine the previous owner may have blanked off the recirc pipe (shown) and had a VTA BOV fitted.
