Another question I’ll probably get shouted at for asking without searching but the newer galant hub carriers do they have to be from 5 stud wheels, I assume they do?
I like sparking conversation in here even if it is to call me a dimwit!!

Any facelift.
If you get one from a 4-stud, you'll need to replace the bearing/hub face.
However, I'd highly recommend replacing the bearing/hub face anyway, it's a small expense, and you're already doing most of the labour to take them off, so may as well put new bearings in there and know it's good for another 10 years/100,000 miles.
@Confused will my bearing/hub face not fit to the hub carrier?
I assume you mean these? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Front-Whe...-/282545310080
I have the chance of some hub carriers from an 02 Galant estate, it has 4 stud wheels, would i have any problems with the ABS sensor or anything else thats not a straight swap?
Obviously Id rather just buy some facelift front carriers/hubs but I am struggling.
ps, sorry fpr the technical posts, move the thread if needed.
Many thanks
youtube "tha got beef wi me"
i made that.
You *could* move your hub/bearings across - but unless it's nearly new, I'd just spend the £52.80 per side while it's all in bits.
ABS sensors are interchangable - when they remove it from the vehicle, make sure that they disconnect the plug properly (not cut the wire!).
You have PM, apologies for recent absence
cheers Louis
