Car Description
Car History
I bought the Legnum direct fro Japanese auction in 2009. It had done around 50,000 miles and was in super condition. Renewed the timing chains at 51000 and had fluids changed including AYC. BRC LPG installed shortly after buying, LPG certificate with the car. New radiator last year, totally undersealed by Rust Busters 2 years ago. Stainless steel exhaust with catalytic converter bypass available. Sunroof
Interior used but ok as per the normal Legnum interior. Still has Japanese tv aerials on rear of roof.....
This car drives fine below the 60mph point (vibration present under heavy acceleration or above 60mph ) and we have loved owning it. It would make a super donor car for spares or with some attention to the points above return to the autobahn burner it can be. The pictures probably make it look better than it is. Good tyres all around, wheels need a proper clean and refurb.
I want it to go to a ClubVR4 enthusiast who can get the best out of it. If I have no offers here I will be putting on Ebay from 10 December 2020 for a start of £.099 with no reserve and see what happens. Someone please save this VR4!

Bad bits
A well used car, lacquer on front bonnet and some parts of wings lifting. Vibration above 60mph, I think drive train linked rather than wheel balancing but needs to be checked. Drivers door restraining link pulled through mounting on A frame. Driver's door lock operates all central locking, Passengers door doesn't. Crazing on rear bumper. Dent on front drivers side wing. There will be other small dents but none that I can see as standing out. No rust.
There is a vibration at 60mph upwards that I have tried to get rid of by wheel balancing, which has reduced but not cured it. The front bonnet and part of the front wings have lost some of their lacquer, no rust.
If keeping as a runner the car would benefit from a respray, lacquer mainly apart from front bonnet which is showing where it was resprayed after a another person backed into the nose of the bonnet.......
