    NEWBIE FROM PAKISTAN /newhere

Hey y'all. I started learning about Mitsubishi's 90s sleeper cars an year ago and Galant 8g came out on top IMO. As I am saving for the one and there are No orignal vr4s in here So my guess is to Import a half cut from a japan and putting on top of 2.5 fwd VR or 1.8 super saloon. I am also a bit curious about fuel economy as I am a student and will be using it as daily drive.
Looking forward for your help and Suggestions

    standard car
    round town 20-25mpg
    motorway driving 25-32mpg

are you considering creating a VR2 (front wheel drive with VR4 engine) on a 7G platform.
    it has been doe before.

if you are thinking of doing 4wd 7G you will struggle as the 7G chassis does not have the transmission tunnel for the propshaft that goes to the rear of the car to the rear differential.

    lots of metalwork required.

    Bye for Now!

Not sure where you got 7g from Dave?

But yes, changing FWD to 4WD is tricky due to floor changes. I'd also like to disagree with the MPG. Very few owners get 25mpg round town. Most of us get more like 18mpg. Some in the past have quoted 15/16mpg. I'd say expect 16 and be happy with any extra.
