Hope this fits in this section - moderators, if you disagree then by all means move it somewhere more appropriate that I've overlooked, thanks.
Since having my Legnum, I've been using Tesco 99
Some of you may gasp in horror as the whole nation seems to be split on wether its decent or not, but I went with it assuming it was 99octane/RON vs all the other forecourts (even branded ones) only topping out at 97. Coupled with the fact that these cars in Japan run on 100, so just on the octane rating figures alone tesco99 seems to be the logical choice
In my immediate vicinity I have
Gulf (97ron)
Texaco - not sure if they have 97
I think there's an esso garage nearby too but nothing higher than 95 there
Places like Shell or BP are *miles* away and impractical
In the last few years a lot of my local forecourts have been changing brands and therefore stock too.
I'm asking 2 things here -
*Out of my readily available options, if you were in my shoes would you continue with Tesco99 or switch to Gulf's 97?
*Secondly, and this is more for those who have had VR4's long term, what's the best fuel you've ever had in the UK?
Edit - added a third question and adjusted formatting accordingly
Edit 2 - realised I'd asked the 3rd question on another thread some time back.
