    Part throttle hesitation

As the title says, when I'm cruising along on part throttle I get an intermittent, sporadic hesitation.

The only engine bay work I've done recently is change the spark plugs
(Front bank only as I ran out of time and daylight to do the rear)
So naturally the coil packs have been disturbed along with other necessary wiring.

It feels electrical but I could be wrong

I'd check the plugs. In doing that you'll also check the leads and coil packs.

It could also be a vacuum leak - have you got a boost gauge?

I'm positive I felt the coils click into place as I bolted them down. Mind you I've never liked this type of ignition system at all.
I prefer a coil pack with an HT Lead to all the plugs

The plugs came from Viamoto, and truth be told I never checked the gap. I just popped them in. I checked for obvious damage ofcourse but they looked good

It wouldn't surprise me if I have a vacuum leak, my intention is to replace every single line.
Coming from a VAG background, the 1.8i turbo engine 1st found in the mk4 Golf had a vacuum line simplification mod. Is there such a thing for the VR4?

No boost gauge, I've got a boost controller but that seems to be dead to the world for reasons unknown - I've not investigated yet.
