    Coils and an Air sensor required

    Hi guys does anyone have coils and and air sensor? Also does anyone know if there is a way to test an air sensor?

    Yes, on the inlet. Also If anyone can advise if there is a function test that can be performed other than flashy dash code.

    The coils, like many parts are becoming the proverbial hen's teeth... Dave who replied above is in process of making an upgrade for running honda coil's, maybe time for an upgrade? Not sure about our cars but I do believe that MAFs can be difficult to diagnose as faulty except by replacement fixing the problem?

    Failing coils usually shows as a misfire under load.
    Failing MAF usually shows as stalling/hesitation when trying to pull away.

    Hope that helps narrow down your problem.

    You can drive the car with the MAF unplugged. It puts the car in a default/safe mode. Check if the issue goes away when it's disconnected.
