Yes!

I assume you aren’t taking your Jag
A little birdy tells me you have a couple of fellow travellers.
How many days are you going for, ferry or tunnel, which digs, etc ?
Unfortunately I won’t be going at Easter - far too busy last year and just got my new track toy which I need to shake down at a local track and replace tyres, pads etc for some more favoured items. It’s a lot quicker than the Abarth Spider
Have a lot of fun, I know you will especially with that crazy Dutch guy (Oops who could that be !) and remember to post pics whilst you are there
Well do our best!
The strange Dutch one has a very fettled R53 mini. I'm planning to take the VR4 although I have just rebuilt the engine so currently trying to run it in. The Jag will be the back up car but even with over 500 horses it will be slower, especially with me nervously driving it!
We are there for a week, Thursday to Thursday and staying at the ferienpark as trying to make it a proper family event. I think we booked Dover Dunkirk for the ferry but I can't remember.
I heard that there might be a couple of other ex CVR4 members there too, hopefully we get a chance to catch up!
You’ll have a great time at the ferienpark as the houses there are good quality and good for working on the cars if need be (hopefully you won’t need to).
I really would like to take my new car to the ring but going to be sensible for once as I need to master such power again !
You’ll find that the tracks will be very busy on the Friday and Saturday and from Sunday afternoon onwards will start to calm down.
Make sure you do the F1 circuit as that is a great track but will most certainly not be the full circuit unless you do Thursday night which we did last year when we got there. It’s very much harder on the brakes so try not to get that pedal into the floor like we did years ago in the VR4s at Silverstone
Simon and Paul are both going with their lads only for a few nights - unfortunately Simon’s liner won’t be there as he’s paxing in his youngest’s Swift.
His eldest son will be there with his mates in his R53 mini. Paul should be there in his M3 which is a very loud thing ! I can’t knock it as my car has had all 4 cats removed and now has a single pipe 3” Milltek So jealous you are going on a proper trip like we always use to do. Fingers crossed the weather is good for you as Easter is slightly earlier this year.
Our family of four is going in the Panda!![]()
October 2023 fleet status: 100% operational

Why not become a full member of CVR4 and enjoy the additional benefits membership brings?! Information here.
No, unfortunately as trip to OZ for 3 wks - but will be going 10-14 May...
I will watch out for a red ****box....
Bon voyage - have a great holiday and be safe, especially the ring virgins amongst you.
So how did the Easter 2023 trip go...?
The trip was good. Unfortunately the VR4 was not able to make the trip, so I had to take the Jaag. Too big and expensive for me to really push it, plus a lack of prep meant the front pads were not up for the job.
Good to see others and have some pax laps a well though.
Did you make it out?
Retd from OZ then 1 night in London then drove to the Ring - should have known better at my age....
Jet lag and the drive....
Met up with friend from past Ring trips and a few others from euro track visits...
Unfortunately had booked in Adenau as they were in a flat opposite Breidshcheid, and with problems of parking at the hotel I was relying more on them for transport
Previously in Nurburg could leave car and walk to various viewing areas, back for food/drinks or go out in car and no problem parking on return - not so in Adenau
So not as enjoyable as previous trips and did not do a single lap - first visit where this has happened...
