im not a computer geek either so youre not alone
finally got my alloys sorted out, after a farce !!! the book said 225/40/18. mine duly arrived with 215/35/18. didn't really want to fit them, but halfords ensured they would be ok ! they looked rediculous :Cry1: the difference between 35's & 40's profile is 2" overall diameter & 4" rolling circumference !!! took them back, & they said I had ordered the wrong tyres !:confused: A few terse words later, & £100 of a pressure washer I bought a few weeks ago !! [result ! ] the supplier, [ motorsport wheels in leeds, ] agreed to take back my "used" tyres & fit the correct ones. only slight snag was I had to take put my old wheels back on, & travel to them in leeds. needed them on urgent, as I go away tomorrow . Ever driven a VR4, with the wrong tyres ??? 0 to 60 in about 14 seconds !!! or it seemed like it ! anyway, I'm of on my jollies later to Dorset. so, if you see [ I know a few of you live down south ] a sliver legnum cruising the south coast, dont panic !!! it's only me

a little story about a little old lady. :mad: a lovely single track country lane in Dorset last week, with regular passing places . little old dear in brand new micra. [ what else ? ] obviuosly didn't know wot a passing place means. so she came straight towards me & I was the one who had to reverse some 30 / 40 yds to squeeze through. when suddenly................... crunch !!!:Cry1: a lovely large rock near the hedgerow, decided it didn't like my shiny new alloys !!! so now, on my nearside rear, I have 11 small chunks randomly removed from 30% of my rim. bless her .:Cry1: :Cry1: :mad:

yep !!! they are the ones !!! I think they are the muts nuts, but if you go for something similar.......... dont forget , they protrude fron the tyres about an inch. so be warned. OH... & by the way,
