The interior looks heaps better now Ben. I know you said you're done with it but maybe it could do with a bit more red, maybe retrim the steering wheel with red leather?

Can't wait to see it fully kitted with the super exterior and then painted up. Good progress, it's making me keener to get mine looking and driving how I want it

Haha yeah you think? Maybe if I could find a Super steering wheel, I might buy it, Would cost way to much to get retrim.

I can't wait till those side skirts turn up

Ummm it was about 4 and half hours with giving the inside bit of clean before putting the black interior in. And I didn't break anything

Yea the super steering wheel would be awesome, you reckon it would cost a lot for a retrim?

So you've ordered them just haven't paid for them yet lol?

Bought set angel eye headlight what are make for USA 8G Galant

    IMG_3794.JPG

Parklights with led rings to make angel eye grow

    IMG_3790.JPG

    HID lights

    IMG_3789.JPG

    Lights on high beam

    IMG_3788.JPG

Since they are make for USA 8G's, They smaller and have slightly different fit on Japanese 8G's, Gap's between the grill & bottom edge corner of bumper, Think I will be changing back to PFL grill

Looks awesome, are you going to do anything about the gaps? Although they aren't very obvious

the cut offs for the light will be wrong to, and you will be blinding on coming traffic.

depending on who and how your headlights are checked legally its a fail.

why change the grill? there will still be the same gap.

how come you went with the USDM lights instead of retrofitting projectors to the JDM lights like so many others have done?

and GLY is right being USDM they will be left hand drive so will cast too much light to the left, which when driving on the right hand side of the road throws light directly at oncoming traffic.
unlikely you will get pulled up on it but depends if you are happy being that dick who blinds everyone or not. haha

Will be doing something about the gap's, Unsure what I will do,

Deflector has been changed for right hand side so shouldn't have a problem with blinding oncoming traffic,

The person I bought them off said he never had a problem with getting wof's with them but will be interesting to see if they pass or not

Only reason I bought them as they were cheap

I was lead to believe these light would not fit jdm 8g vr4
    But they obviously do.
I can handle a little gap between the headlight unit and grill. And they seem to be able to be taken apart to swap the hid masking plate over for the beam, so all seems good.

    Bye for Now!

Well after she blew 2 radiators hoses in 2 days, She had a ride on back of a tow truck

    car3.jpgcar2.jpg

Bought a set of silicone radiators

    hoses.jpg

Bought a new EVO 9 metal blow of valve and make my own hoses for it aswell

    IMG_4184.JPGIMG_4185.JPGIMG_4186.JPG

Finally finish making my own hard kit pipping

    IMG_4271.JPGIMG_4272.JPGIMG_4273.JPG

At the same time when replacing the hoses, Though it would be good idea to replace most of the vacuum hoses with silicone and also bought a Walbro fuel pump

    IMG_4278.JPGIMG_4279.JPGIMG_4280.JPGIMG_4281.JPG

After not being able to drive it for last 5 or so weeks and needing a good clean on the outside and inside
It great to drive her again, She running and boosting better then then, Is not more boost leak and it holding it boost at 12psi now

    IMG_4282.JPGIMG_4283.JPGIMG_4284.JPG

And other good new is that, The Super VR4 side skirts I've bought, Will be there next week and hoping to have them fitted next weekend

Today my Super side skirts turn up, I'm very happy with them, Very well make

    IMG_4296.JPGIMG_4297.JPGIMG_4298.JPGIMG_4299.JPG

But with good new, Comes bad news

And the car has blown the head gasket,

Saw stem and open the bonnet to find this

    car4.jpgcar5.jpg

It blown water out of the radiator cap

I'm unsure what I'm going to do but probably going to look at rebuilding the whole engine.

How the car is sitting at the moment

    IMG_4427.JPGIMG_4428.JPG

Thing's to do over next few months
Is to finish pulling the engine out
Off to Justin place for full panel and paint
Custom make bonnet and mould the Super kit and put fibreglass kit on the car

And then thing I'm really looking forward to is, Stripping down the engine
