Shows and Events 2017

As part of my new role as the CVR4 Events Organiser I've been gathering some key dates for 2017. Below are the dates I have come up with so far. As and when I get round to starting official threads for each event I will create links to them on this page, so you don't have to go searching for each individual event. Simply open this sticky thread and click the relevant link. Anyway here goes:

• Japanese Auto Matsuri, Maldon, Essex - 11th June
• Players Classic, Goodwood - 17th June
• Japfest, Donington - 1st July
• JapShow, Santa Pod - 8th to 9th July
• Scottish Car Show, Royal Highland Centre - 16th July
• Totally Japanese, Smeatharpe Stadium - 23rd July
• Simply Japanese, Beaulieu - 30th July
• Ultimate Street Car, Santa Pod - 5th to 6th August
• Evo Festival & Mitsubishi Owners Day - 26th-27th August
• German Vs Jap, Cambs - 26th to 27th August
• JAE, Peterborough Arena - 31st August to 3rd September

This is by no means an exhaustive list and is just what I can think of off the top of my head. If you know of any other shows events etc that people may be interested in then please let me know either by PM or by commenting below.

I am aware that Darren @Pugme is the show season king on this forum so if you would take a look at the list and if I have missed anything off that will be relevant to CVR4 members then by all means let me know. Also if anyone finds any mistakes with the dates etc let me know.

This thread will be updated as and when there are changes or new events are found, so please check back regularly for updates. This thread is purely for the externally organised UK events only and does not encompass any CVR4 exclusive events such as workshop days, dyno days or other mini meets. Separate similar threads will be created for these.

I will ask that any comments on this thread are kept as on point as possible and would like to take this opportunity to thank you all in advance for your support. Now get your Club VR4 2017 Calendars out and mark the above dates off before the other half books you in for a matinee showing of Footloose!!

Apologies for the lack of updates/posts etc but Ive been absolutely smashed this week at work. Will hopefully get some time tomorrow to tidy some posts up and sort out the dates/tickets for other shows.

Added a few more events and threads and updated the links. Go check them out. Still have no interest for the Fast show event?

So with Japfest done we look ahead to the rest of the season. I have edited the main post, still a few more events to update and add so bear with me.

Just done a bit of admin, adding and editing various event threads. Check out the first post for all of the events and if any tickle your fancy use the links to head over to relevant thread.

Added Japanese Auto Matsuri to the list. Short notice I know but if anyone is interested head over to the thread.

Players Classic at Goodwood this weekend for those in the area or interested. I haven't started a thread for this one and its probably too late now so thought Id just put a reminder on here.
