320 odd Bhp and 356 lbs/ft of torques silver legnum vr4 needs a good clean and some tlc body work shabby due to poor driving mostly not me ggrrr women
the safc allows you modify the fuel map the VR4 runs way too rich.... so by leaning it out you can get quite a bit more power. You will also need a wide band lanbda to map it properly or take it to a tuner to do.

It lets you modify the MAF signal that ECU can see... and the only problem with modifying your MAF signal is that it also affects ignition...Originally Posted by zentac

sounds interesting worth doing?
It is a good unit.
Some +
Simple;
Has a display to see adjustments in real time (no need for laptop);
Has ability to monitor knock sensor;
Some -
Simple;
You can only adjust fuel by adjusting MAF signals... cant pulse injectors directly;
Can't deal with anything besides that...
So it's up to you.
End result = its ten times better than doing nothing at all! The VR4 is massively overfuelled to start with, so theres plenty of gains to be had, plus its a rough way of raising the fuel/boost/airflow cut point as well
