New VR4 owner, in Manchester area, would like to meet Mitsubishi expert with a good sense of humour, for fun times and regular servicing (ahem... the car, the car).
Who does anybody recommend? I'd take it to Prosport (Scooby/Evo people I'd trust with anything) but they're still getting back on their feet after a fire at their workshops, so who else is there (main dealers included) that can be trusted?
Car is booked in at Gallaghers of Ashley (main dealers rated pretty good on the Lancer forums) for a service and poke about, but I'd like to find someone who really knows the VR4s inside out. Cheers in advance

I personally think they are a bunch of arrogant so, and so's at Ashley. I personaly will never take my car back there, instead i just use the Manchester main dealer, on Bury Road now (since Eccles shutdown) Not had any problems there so far.

I Don't think anyone up here really knows all that much about our cars

i took mine on recommendation to jap imports in middlewich for the 55k service

5hrs labour and bits just over 300 quid

they do have a courtesy car but it was booked for when mine was in but a colleague lives near there so i was ok.

Avoid Bramwell Mitsubishi in oldham. They haven't got a clue what a clue is.

Browns Mitsubishi at Preston are very friendly people and i have used them until a 500 squid estimate for a full oils service was quoted not good! . But keep it to yourselves they will drop their rates considerably if you haggle. .
They are ralliart approved but not vr4 specialists.
I give them 7.5 out of 10.
