Brembo Ferodo DS2500's for £110

On fleabay here - Set of front Ferodo DS2500's for EVO calipers with free delivery for £110. Just paid £135 for mine delivered, which was the best I could find...

emailed the bloke, and he'll do the rear DS2500 brembo caliper pads for £55 delivered - £5 better than the best I've found. ebay username is alpinespares2005, and I have his email addy if anyone wants it.

Ordered a set of rears, which arrived today. They're not boxed as DS2500's as the set of fronts I got through MLR though - they're called 'DS Performance'. Back plates of these are red, whereas the 2500's were black. A quick squiz at Ferodo's website, and there aren't any DS2500's listed - just 2000 and 3000. The 'Performance' pads have a page to themselves here

Anyone know anyrhing about this? Have the 2500's been replaced?

All the DS2500's I have bought are black, and they have never been on their website IIRC, so doubt they have been replaced.

Also, the ones for my KADS (which are the same for the AP kit) are only £85 direct from KAD....so feck knows why the Brembo ones are so much more !

Roit. After a bit of investigating...These DS performance pads are close to what DS2000's were - sort of an updated replacement. So a fast road pad, and not the same high spec of the DS2500's.

I've contacted the bloke, and he's apologised, accepted a refund, and withdrawn his other ebay autions for the same kit.
