You guys are indeed a bunch of car enthusiasts, even if the huge amount of early EVO's and Imprezza's was kind of predictable (although this car club only has one sort of car haha!) The sausages were great, and everyone was nice and friendly, even if I kind of hung out with the other VR-4 owners. Heaps of people came up to me and complemented me on my bonnet

What time did you guys leave there anyway? I was feeling kind of tired by 3, when we left. I definately want to come along to the next one, I feel guilty about not paying anything at all though, I saw some guys putting $10 into a hat.

I'm definately interested in coming along to the next meet, do you have any plans at this stage for your next meet? If you can post up news on any upcoming events in the NZ events section, I'm sure you'll have some of us turn up

Hey bradc, great meeting you! Sorry I couldn't spend more time talking to you as I had to organise alot of things on the day

We left Mission Bay approx 4pm? Headed as a convoy towards Maraetai, stopping at a few destinations such as petrol stations etc. to fill up and for stragglers to catch up to the convoy

Had a nice long drive to Maraetai where we all parked up, played some ball in the rain and just a good ole' mess around

About paying for sausages: we just go on a donate whatever basis. Throw in any spare change and the boyz will shoot down to Foodtown and order as many sausages or patties etc. so no worries there

When we have the next scheduled meet I'll keep yous informed I'm more than happy inviting CLUBVR4 members as long as the intentions are not ill, and their manners are as good as yours

We are all a nice bunch of guys hehe. About petrol stations, I bet some of them are happy when a whole heap of cars stop in, and fill up on expensive petrol, but I'm sure some of them wouldn't be too happy. Out of curiousity, how do they react?

Nice pics of the cars by the way, I noticed you were taking a picture of every car that turned up.

Well.......hehehe, i heard lots of bad stuff as well. Got a wee bit scared whenever i pulled up to the lights next to a car sporting 'CHOSEN FEW' stickers. In fact my brothers down in Hams said the same thing - they don't have a very good rep! (In fact when we were cruising I saw some guys driving the opposite way giving the fingers. )
Soooooooooooooooo i decided to check it out myself.

I was very impressed by the whole family atmosphere and the whole friendship thing that was goin on. They made us feel very welcome - not hating on us or anything! Everyone was discussing cars...... which is always a good thing. Me and my fella really enjoyed it and would love to meet up with Osiris and the others more often. We learned a lot of stuff - to do with cars of course!!! A very beneficial visit

Tanks Erron!!!! (however you spell your name . hahahaha!)

Well, if they have a bad rep, it definately isn't deserved, as you said, there was definately a family vibe going on, with lots of young kids about, and everyone chatting and laughing.

you mean the black pants like what I wear to work? better than those heavy thick jeans you were wearing. Next time I'll wear shorts so you can all admire my legs!
