    Question Brake upgrade

OK, so I know this has been done to death.

But I am looking for a disc and pad upgrade only.

A consensus of opinion is needed.

I drive the beast on all types of road, but mainly need the extra breaking on the twisty country stuff.

Nothing to expensive and hopefully a DIY install.

I would certainly run with Nationals. I put Black Diamonds on the front of my sons
tweaked MkII Golf last year and had to replace them before the pads were worn out.
Both discs had cracks from the outer drillings to the circumference.

Change your hub-carriers, chop your ABS sensors in half, fit EVO 6 or later calipers and discs.

It's the only way to go if you;re on a budget

National 8 grooves and EBC ceramic red pads. Braided hoses and Motul brake fluid and you're sorted.
