front turbo wrong way round isn't it.
looks good though.

No cambelt, and the turbocharger outlet is pointing downwards!!
yeap. the turbos are facing the wrong way. meaning the exhaust will be a pig.
also the headers are way too big, this will never fit back in a VR4 engine bay.
the rear turbo also occupies the same space as the alternator should...
i am thinking they may have a different car in mind for putting this engine into... possibly a rear wheel drive north/south configuration.
wow, that is one nice looking 6a13tt, where did you find it? I guess they put the turbos that way to have the compressor side of the turbo at the left of our engine bay, but kind of forgot the outlet
Where did you find that picture. Is that the 6A13TT from etchells race partz? I think they have one on a stand to show to people in their shop so that is probably it. If that is it then I dont think they use it.
yeap. thats the one.
Do you know much about that engine?
i new i should have water marked that image before i sent it to Allbeitmine
the motor is internally standard, rebuilt to factory specs, the engine was more of a show pony to get people interested in the work he *ahem*Andy*ahem* does.
looks good though, i dont see it running any time soon though.
Horsepower is NOT proportional to the cross sectional area of your exhaust tip.
Do you know what the adjustable cam gears on it are?Originally Posted by to4garret

You may need to change your fuel pump if you get around 200kw. I was talking with the guys this arvo, my car is leaning out around 5000rpm...fuel pump and/or larger injectors should solve this problem.Originally Posted by AllBeItMine
Do you think that a set of 550cc Evo injectors is a good upgrade over the stock VR4 ones?
All depends on your setup.....bigger is not always better.
450-510 would probably be enough for me... but evo injectors wont fit... i don't think anywayOriginally Posted by TTV6VR4
and thanks you see. good to know. i think don got 188kw at the wheels without upgrading fuel... but yeah, fueling will come after the stock stuff is tuned to its limit.
are you able to PM me how your car finally went on the dyno?
Just making a new post because while I know I've been following the picture updates Andy has been making, there have been no new posts, so the thread has dropped down a little bit.
It looks like you a still pushing along with the manifolds, and the back turbo is all done and in place. How much longer before the front one is done as well?
HOLYCRAPOHMY****ENGODITFITS!!!
i mean it seriously fits, its in, the back turbo has the same amount of clearance as the old one did. all the lines are on, the shifter cables are on, nothing is fouling or touching anything!
its a fricken miracle!!!
i didn't even need to use a hammer!
oh - and it looks like its all going to fit at the front too. will even beable to keep the radiator and radiator fans. its a fricken miracle... honestly it is.
haha, to be honest I'm surprised, but damned happy for you at the same time. What is the ETA now?
So what's next ABIM?
