    Question FS: what's the catch

    a very nice looking Legnum in auto trader for £2400, still in Japan but being shipped across it doesn't say about SVA test so i'm thinking who ever buy's it will have some other money outlet's before it's UK legal? (dock fee's?, SVA fee's)

    I looked at Autoadvan before.

    The catch is that the price advertised doesn't include shipping, taxes or anything else. I'm not even sure if the price overs the FOB (Fee on boat, ie: all Jap taxes/clearance paid)....

    I bought my car through autoadvan back when they were still an auction dealer (now split into auction and direct jap sales). You're looking at double that price by the time you've landed the car, paid shipping, import, SVA etc, and closer to £5500/6000 if you want a thatcham 1 alarm, some underseal and a proper mileage converted odo!

    I've looked at Autoadvan too, as others have said everything is on top of the price shown. Although it does look a nice motor.
