98 Galant Clear Headlights and Bodykits

Hey ClubVR4. This is my first post so make me feel welcome. I am one of the newest members of the club having just paid my membership up to the English branch of the operations. Nice to meet you all.

First question is about clear headlights. Bearing in mind that I have black tail lights like the ones in the picture what are the best headlights for me? I have included 2 examples from my searches

Also does anyone know if I will need to import them or can someone get them in for me here in NZ?

Also what would be the best bodykit for my Galant VR-4?

This site has a couple of cheap kits. They are in the US and I have no idea how much shipping would be.

For $329 to include front bumper and skirts for back and sides, it would have to be expensive before you need worry!

Those rear lights if you get them from xracing wont be here till January but RRP is around $379.00 but if you say i sent you i can get u them for around $349.00 or less

These are the headlights for the 99-03 version of the galant. I was wondering if you could convert them to work in a 98 galant. Does anyone know if this is possible? Also I became a paid-up member of the club and just want to know if my membership has been processed.

Careful - those headlights don't appear to have a seperate low/hi beam bulb...

The headlights look American. I am not sure if those fit the JDM cars. If they are interchangeable then they will fit your car. Bear in mind that the reflectors will be pointing the wrong way as they drive on the wrong side of the road!

dude i have those rear ones for my galant 98 version however it comes with redbulb for indicator you will have to get that changed to orange or copper will do you.

those headlights will only fit the USDM G... now as for the kits, pretty much all the kits in the US are JDM fitment anyway, so you could get any kit from here and it will bolt right up... and if anyone wants the altezza tails like in the pic i can get them to you for about $200 or a little more...

They look fine! Wonder where he got them from.. since he's selling it to the US market one might wonder if they are for driving on the right side of the road..
