    vibration

I have a vr4 estate it has an odd intermitent habit of vibrating at very particular speeds namely 63 kph and 126 kph it has been back to the main agent a couple of times with no improvement. The vibration feels like driving over a cattle grid I cant tell if it is missing or it is suspension related any ideas?

Its the damper it cost me $250 cause I have a mechanical warranty!

This is what they charged me for -

    Work Description
    TORQUE CONVERTER
    LABOUR 8.75 HRS = NZ$320.25 pounds = 114.91
REMOVE ALL AIR PIPES AND COVERS. REMOVE WHEELS AND DRIVE SHAFTS AND EXHAUST AND 4WD WHEEL GEAR BOX. REMOVE AUOT TRANS MOUNTS AND REMOVE AUTO TRANS. REMOVE TORQUE CONVERTOR AND SEND AWAY FOR REPAIRS.

    FREIGHT AND PACKAGING NZ$5.50 = pounds = 1.97
    OIL FILTER, A/T NZ$26.50 = pounds = 9.51

    BP AUTOTRANS OIL MM-SP3 x 8litres = NZ$64.00 = pounds = 22.97

GOODS AND SERVICES TAX INSERT INTO post VALUES (G.S.T) = NZ$52.03 = pounds = 18.67

So in total the job came to NZ$468.30 = pounds 168.09.

Then minus NZ$250 which convertered to pounds is 89.79 pounds which is the excess.

Plus my hunky mechanic said while the transmission was out he serviced it so I don't have to worry about that for a looong while.... INSERT INTO post VALUES (without extra charge)

    Hope this helps,

INSERT INTO post VALUES (It was done my a mitsubishi dealers mechanic)

I also was told don't drive on it too much before it gets fixed, as eventually the car will stop and wont go no where!
